  • What makes this wine special? As the name suggests, Cabernet Moravia is a regional take on the famous French grape! A Moravian-born cross of Cabernet Franc and Zweigeltrebe, it takes the best from each parent – Cabernet spice and the fresh drinkability of Zweigelt. Zdeněk Vykoukal's version is an elegant and smooth red wine with aromas of blackcurrant leaf, blackberry, cherry, a touch of anilla and chocolate. Long finish and supple tannins.
  • This bottle is perfect for... just drinking – enjoying with food

  • Pair it with...  aperitif – patés & charcuterie boards – BBQ – light red meat dishes

Meet the winemaker

Zdeněk is a die-hard heavy metal fan (he even plays guitar in a local band), but his wines are more like a classic symphony: elegant, intricate, and full of beautiful details.

His vines thrive on the unique limestone soils of Austerlitz, Czech Republic, a small town famous for the formidable Napoleonic battle fought there in 1805.
