ŠTEMBERGER

ŠTEMBERGER

Calling the region of Karst their home, the Štemberger family are extremely big-hearted folk. Sebastijan and Loredana pour all of this big heart into their wine, which has the distinct ability to be both more lively & energetic than any conventional wine, while having more wisdom and skilled finesse than your average natural wine. Sebastijan made his first vintage at age 13, given the push by his father, passing on a family tradition. The winemaking goes back many generations, as represented by the 300+ year old vine that still grows behind the farmhouse. Complex, native, expressive, breathtaking- Štemberger is a Slovenian winemaker to follow!
