Our Partnership Philosophy

There is one major thing that unites all our winemakers & vinofactum as a wine importer & seller: the belief that no one “owns” the land, but are simply performing proper stewardship so as to preserve its use for future generations. The reason we all are so focused on low intervention is because it is the best way to ensure not only the best of wines in the short term, but also the best of wines (and the best for our environment) in the long term. Our winemakers run the gamut from families who have been tending vineyards since the late 1500s to young, new winemakers who have a near obsessive passion for terroir, whether it's care or its expression in wine.
