Herzánovi: P² 2021

P² is a co-fermented blend of Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir from the Herzánovi family in Kobylí—two grapes, one plot, one wild ride. With a month of skin contact and a year in old oak, this is a textured, lightly grippy natural wine that blurs the lines between rosé, orange, and red.

What makes this wine special? The grapes were harvested and fermented together, just as they came in—whole berries, mixed skins, no sorting. That hands-off spontaneity gives P² its glowing color, fine structure, and layers of wild berries, blood orange, rosehip, and subtle spice. No fining, no filtering, no added sulphur.

This bottle is perfect for... wine bars – in-between-season dinners – sharing with natural wine skeptics (they’ll be converted).
Pair it with... charcuterie – lentil salads – roasted beets – or anything with sweet-spicy contrast.
