Jaroslav Osička: Moravian Rhapsody 2021

A symphony of aromas and flavors that could have easily been taken for Burgundy. But we’re in South Moravia in this case, where Jaroslav Osička blended Müller-Thurgau, Neuburger, Pinot Gris, and Riesling and matured it in acacia barrels. The result is a full-bodied, complex and elegant wine with aromas of freshly baked lemon tart, butter, toast and vanilla. It would be a perfect match for rich, buttery dishes but it’s also a delight on its own. Serve slightly chilled.
