Martin Vajčner: Amphora River Sediments 2021

A blend of Pálava (a local Moravian cross of Gewürztraminer and Müller-Thurgau), Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, Malvasia and Pinot Gris. Macerated for 12 months in clay amphorae. Matured in French oak. Super aromatic. Orange blossom, oregano and black olive brine on the nose. Round and full bodied on the palate. It’s orange and it’s wild! Goes great with aged cheeses, game and grilled meats. Unfined and unfiltered. Serve slightly chilled.
