Vykoukal: Grüner Veltliner Vintage Cuvée

With a vineyard size of just above 2 ha, Vykoukal crafts wines with great personality that are a unique expression of the local terroir. The soil in his vineyards predominantly limestone & chalk, giving all his wines a really good longevity and character.

This Grüner Veltliner is a blend of two different vintages to achieve more balance from a really hot and dry 2018 and a colder and rainy 2019. Higher acidity and freshness of the 2019 years meets full body and a round structure of the 2018. A match made in heaven.

The typical GV aromas of lime and white pepper with a touch of salinity, meets a texture and mouthfeel that’s really rich and delicious.
