Zdeněk Omasta: Pálava & Riesling Orange 2020

They say not to mix apples and oranges. We don’t know why because the result in this case is pretty spectacular. A blend of Pálava and Riesling - two aromatic grape varieties coming together in this dry orange wine. Aromas of jasmine, lime, apple, orange and crushed gravel. 3-week skin contact and 12-month maturation Czech acacia barrels. This is not a funky orange. It’s crisp and fresh. If you want to delight an orange wine newbie with an elegant bottle without shocking their taste buds - this is your wine. Serve chilled.
